Honeymoon Hotels Registry Makes Exotic Trips Possible
A newly married couple can hardly wait to get to the hotel and begin their honeymoon. What an exciting time of loving dreams and anticipation! Honeymoons can be registered online much like a gift registry at a department store. People then donate money toward your dream trip to an exotic location.
The first thing to consider when planning your honeymoon is where you want to go. Do you want to go to an island location like the Caribbean or Hawaii? If so, do a little research first to find out the hurricane season and/or the rainy season for the island you wish to visit. The hotel won't be much fun if it blows away!
Sometimes you might want to schedule your honeymoon a few months later than the wedding. June or July are wonderful months for a wedding because the weather is nice. Threat of rain is lessened, making outdoor weddings safer to plan. But staying at hotels in these months might be uncomfortably hot or wet in some places you may wish to visit.
Your honeymoon is sure to include fabulous meals at the hotel restaurant. While some native specialties might be available there, out in the town you can really be adventurous with your meals. Do consider what types of food you and your fiance enjoy when deciding on hotels for your honeymoon.
Here's an idea for reducing the cost of your honeymoon. Schedule only a night or two at the poshest hotel or resort, then spend the rest of your time in hotels that are more modestly priced. This way, you can stay as long as you want and still have the luxurious experience of the four or five star accommodations.
Here's another consideration. If you wish to travel a great distance, such as to Africa from North America, you will have to spend at least a day and a half just on the way and back. If your trip can only last for a week or less, you would probably want to choose a closer location so that you could enjoy the hotel most of the time. If you are planning to be in your destination country for several weeks, a far off destination makes more sense.
Other possibilities when choosing a honeymoon destination is whether you want the hotel be around city life or surrounded by nature. Similarly, consider what the two of you like to do for fun and make sure there are options for favorite activities at the hotel you choose.
A honeymoon is a great time to take in an adventure. You're probably still young and energetic, and you don't have any kids yet to hold you back. Of course, this description surely doesn't fit every newly married couple. Trip planners can tell you about ecotourism experiences, African safaris, and river rafting excursions. See what's available before you choose the first run of the mill hotel in a traditional honeymoon spot. Make sure you are using those dollars on the hotel you and your honey really want. ...
